Cosfibel is signatory of the UN Global Compact (2012) and Women's Empowerment Principles (2019) and has been partnering with factories owned or managed by women, certified by WeConnect International, a NGO supporting women entrepreneur. Gender balance starts in our own teams where not only 2/3 of our employees are women but also 2/3 of our leadership committee.

We believe in the power of diversity within our teams and partner with organizations that help disabled people back into work such as ESATs in France, whose standards ensure them an international social support and safe environment.

Protection of
migrant workers

Since 2016, Cosfibel has been sponsoring factories located in inner China regions and employing ex-migrants. These rural factories help support local employment and enable their workers to be closer to their families. As such, they have the ability to go back home on a regular basis, which is not the case of most of Chinese factory workers.

FAIRTRADE INTERNATIONAL

Since 2019, we are licensee of Max Havelaar for our made-in-Fairtrade ® cotton items. Their supply chain ensures fair income for the cotton pickers and stands against abusive chemical use.

In 2022 we were honored to upscale from the Ecovadis Gold to Platinum award. Our continuous efforts were recognized by Ecovadis who granted our teams with the highest score, positioning Cosfibel in the top 1% of companies rated by the label in the industry.

Since 2021, we have been GOTS certified and are developing GOTS supply chain and promoting GOTS products.

Since 2012, we have renewed our vows on a yearly basis towards the United Nations program and its sustainable development goals.

FSC ^®-certified*

FSC^®* helps to preserve forests and the people and wildlife they support. Every year, Cosfibel sells more than a million FSC^®-certified* items.

GLOBAL RECYCLED STANDARD

We are certified to the GRS, which certifies recycled material from the source to final product.

CARBON DISCLOSURE PROJECT

CDP is a not-for-profit charity that runs the global disclosure system for investors, companies, cities, states and regions to manage their environmental impacts. Since 2021, Cosfibel Premium is answering to the Carbon Disclosure Program, Climate Change questionnaire.
